Welcome to “Be still ✞ know yoga” ~ Meet Jesus on your mat. This is a faith based floating yoga studio. A traveling yoga studio, where the roots are God and I will go where he leads me. This is not a typical yoga studio asking you to worship yourself, or bring positive vibes only. I do not believe that everything you need is inside of you; I believe in the power of connection and relationships. This is a physical, emotional and spiritual space where we get to come together, from all over the world, to worship God through movement and honor the bodies he clothed us in. Let’s bring heaven to earth. Take the spiritual world and root it down. Here. In the present. Now. I believe in belonging to God first. Before yourself. Before anyone else.

Come broken, come with your problems, your pain, your addictions, your trauma and your worry. Come with your joy, your laughter, your hope, your faith, your dreams and your healing. Come with your arms wide open. Come real, just as you are. Just as God made you. Beautifully broken. You, yes all of you, are welcome. There is no shame. Nothing to hide from and nothing too big to overcome. Believer or not, I want you here.

✞ My retreats and classes are shifting more into a space of prayer, gratitude, worship and light. You do NOT need to be in alignment with that to practice alongside me. I have more friends that do not know God than do. I’m not here trying to convert you. I am just making a space more in alignment with who I am and who I continue becoming. I am not here to judge you, I am just here to love you and give you the space you need to grow.

🌱 “All you can do for another person is be an environment in which if they wanted to come up for air, they could.” — Ram Dass There’s a lot more to say but this is long so I’ll end with this verse, the platform of this presence, Psalm 46:10 – “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

About Cheridan

Cheridan has been a follower of Christ for her entire life but it hasn’t been until 2023 that she connected that need into her yoga practice.

Cheridan is a lover of God, yoga, poetry, travel, sunsets and life. Cher received her Yoga Teacher training certification in India over the summer of 2018. She received her Aerial Yoga Teacher training certification in December of 2018. She began with aerial yoga and now focuses on hatha, yin, restorative and vinyasa flow, all heated or room temperature. This experience has made her passion and understanding of yoga extremely vivid. Having received the training in India, Cher feels more connected to the natural source and more at peace in her mind, body, and soul.

Rumi once said, “Let yourself become living poetry.” There is no better description of what yoga is to me. Yoga is living poetry: in movement, in flow, in feelings, in connecting yourself to every breath. Yoga and God work together as art, working with each human based on their own needs. It is a practice I do to connect with God, to heal, to focus, to love, to breathe, and to live each moment in the present. Let the things that help us grow and the things we love be the things we do.

In addition to incorporating scripture into each practice, Cheridan is also a poet and writes often about life, spirituality, God and connection. Her passions intertwine and she believes God has given her this spirit to reach others and bring them closer to him in every day life. Jesus isn’t just for church, let’s meet him on our mats.
